About the Role
As an AI Solutions Architect (Sales Engineer) at Tribe AI, you will serve as the technical bridge between our clients and internal AI experts. You’ll work closely with General Managers (Enterprise AEs) to understand customer needs, define AI use cases, and architect tailored AI solutions. By leveraging your technical expertise, you’ll help translate business challenges into technical requirements and support the sales process with proposals, business cases, and technical presentations.
Key responsibilities:
- Design innovative AI architectures that solve complex business problems
- Lead technical discovery workshops to explore novel applications of AI across diverse domains
- Develop reference architectures and technical frameworks that showcase what’s possible with current and emerging AI technologies
- Guide clients through the technical landscape of AI, helping them understand capabilities and limitations of different approaches
- Partner with sales teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions
- Define technical requirements and architecture patterns for scalable, production-grade AI systems
- Collaborate with the fulfillment team to design solutions that align with customer needs and leverage Tribe AI’s capabilities.
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and industry trends to provide thought leadership to customers, including bringing in SMEs from the Tribe network.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate AI solution implementation challenges.
About You:
- 5+ years leading technical teams, experience as a Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect, or a similar technical pre-sales role in the AI, cloud, or backend infrastructure space.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with the ability to scope projects and estimate the required effort to build end-to-end applications.
- Baseline knowledge of Generative AI and the evolving LLM ecosystem (Bonus: Product or Engineering consulting / building experience in AI)
- Expertise with production cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Experience architecting end-to-end solutions across different domains (Bonus: You have specifically architected AI solutions)
- Passionate about exploring new technologies and designing solutions to complex technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
